Quality Stables is located in the picturesque Leatherstocking region of south-central New York State - just 5 miles off of Interstate 88 near the City of the Hills-Oneonta.

While in the area one may also visit The National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta or in nearby Cooperstown The National Baseball Hall of Fame.

If traveling by plane, the stable is a little over an hour drive from either the Albany or Binghamton airports.

Set back from the road on 70 acres of open and wooded land one will find the facilities of Quality Stables. Here on top of the hillside can be found the main barn housing up to 20 horses, an indoor, an outside riding ring, a Dressage ring, a jump course, a 1/2 mile harness track, and open land as well as trails to ride on, and various turnout paddocks. For those horses wishing just board with turnout there is a 10-stall barn behind the main house with larger turnouts.

The owner, instructor, and trainer at Quality Stables is Jackie Ross who has blended her former successful teaching career together with her accomplished equestrian skills. She has developed a style which allows for both the horse and the rider/driver to have fun as they learn the basics, build upon those basics, fine tune and expand their skills, and learn to become a team with one another.
